This piece was handmade on the potter's wheel by Lindsey from porcelain clay. It is glazed in my 'unicorn' glaze- a peach, grey and ivory color, with light tan/golden colored crystals on.
- 5.25" tall and is 3.5"w
- holds at least 14oz.
Due to the unique nature of crystalline glazes, no two pieces are ever alike. The crystals are actually grown during the firing and cooling process. The time and temperature must be accurate in order to achieve crystal growth on the piece. The mug was fired an additional time in a gas kiln after the initial glaze firing the achieve the ombré colors on the background.
The piece is lead free, microwave and dishwasher safe, great for daily use.
